Zervan (Zurvan) Akarana

   In the Zoroastrian religion eternal time or destiny, and the father of Ahura Mazda (Hormazu) and Ahriman. Later, when Mithraism had spread to Europe, he became the chief power. The later Persian Akra may be related to Akarana.
